1. Josh Allen Balled Out for Bills
A lot is made about how much Josh Allen’s impact ties into the ceiling of this Bills team, and for good reason. His performance in Week 2 against the Dolphins was one of the best he’s had in his NFL career — showcasing intriguing levels of potential.
Allen ended up completing 24-of-35 (68.6%) pass attempts for 417 yards and four touchdown throws, but with no interceptions. For a quarterback that often relies on his legs and struggled with throwing accuracy in 2019, production of this kind is intriguing to see.
There was little the Dolphins could do offensively to outproduce the Bills when considering how impactful Allen was. Buffalo managed to rush for 12 more yards as a team than Miami while Allen racked up 89 more passing yards than Ryan Fitzpatrick on 12 fewer attempts.
The Dolphins may not be one of the better defensive squads in the NFL, but regardless, seeing big performances from a young quarterback is important. This could help Allen to build some momentum and carry this over into matchups with better teams.
