1. Bills Avoided Major Disaster
It’s not often a team that manages to jump out to a 28-3 lead has to make a come from behind victory at the end of the game. Well, that was the case for the Bills in their victory over the Rams.
Instead of suffering a deflating loss and falling to 2-1, the Bills managed to turn things around and put together a game-winning drive led by Josh Allen. Perhaps most impressive of all is Allen consistently faced pressure from Aaron Donald in clutch time but overcame it.
Even despite facing a 3rd & 25 at the Rams’ 30-yard line with roughly 40 seconds left to play, the Bills ended up overcoming that obstacle. Buffalo ultimately trusted Allen to lead them into the end-zone and he delivered for his fifth touchdown on the game.
Now, the Bills have extra momentum established heading into their Week 4 matchup with the Raiders. If Buffalo can manage to come away from that one with a win, Allen may find himself being added to quite a few MVP ladders by experts.
