The New York Giants Blew A Real Chance To Win

It wasn’t until the absolute final moments of this game that the outcome was decided. However, the Giants had a legitimate chance to pull off a victory had they made the most of their final chance.

Facing a tied score with 1:56 left in the game, the Giants faced starting field position from their own 24-yard line. It was a prime opportunity for Daniel Jones to pull off a two-minute drill en route to a victory.

The Giants initially made progress as Daniel Jones had connected with Darius Slayton for a 14-yard gain to move the chains. However, New York failed to pick up another first down and ultimately was forced to punt the ball.

At some point, the Giants will need Jones to be able to lead them in big moments. The Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL— making it disappointing for New York to not pull off a game-winning drive.
