Evan Engram
Evan Engram is a top-level tight end talent when he is fully healthy. He has a fantastic size and incredible athleticism. However, his biggest problem thus far in his career has been his ability to stay healthy. The Giants will hope he can stay on the field this season because he is going to be a big part of their offense.
Having an athletic receiver adds so much to what an offense can do. Just look at the Chiefs and the 49ers if you need proof on how much a great tight end help an offense.
While Engram has a lot of talent, he will be facing a very good defense. The Steelers safeties are both very athletic. Minkah Fitzpatrick is a ballhawk who can make big plays for the Steelers. Devin Bush is the definition of an ideal modern NFL linebacker. Terrell Edmunds size is perfect for a strong safety.
This Steelers’ defense is one of the few that can really shut down Engram. If the Giants’ offense is going to thrive, he needs to get open and make plays.
Engram’s speed, size, and ability to go up and snag the ball out of the air are what make him such an exciting tight end. He is still very young and could grow into one of the leagues best tight ends. However, to do that he must stay healthy. Look for Engram to be a big part of this Steelers passing attack this week as they play underdog to a dominant Steelers defense.
