Saquon Barkley

Is it any surprise that the best player on the Giants will be an X-Factor this week? While their passing game is going to be important, they are built to run the football. The performance Saquon Barkley manages to provide New York will have a substantial impact on their ability to defeat the Steelers.

The Giants rebuilt their offensive line from the ground up. After drafting tackle Andrew Thomas, it is one of the strongest points of their team. New York will give Barkley many opportunities on Monday Night Football and this Steelers defense will be a great test.

Barkley can completely take over in so many ways. He can run the ball as a power back, he can catch the ball out of the backfield, and he can make defenders look silly with insane juke and spin combinations. There truly isn’t a part of his game that he lacks. If the Steelers let Barkley run wild, then they may have trouble coming away victorious.

If the Steelers are able to limit Barkley, the Giants’ offense will struggle. Pittsburgh must do whatever they can to limit him. However, that is easier said than done.
