Jeff Gladney
Besides Joseph and Griffen, the Vikings have undergone a massive reconstruction of their secondary this offseason. While they still have Harris Smith and Harris, Minnesota lost Xavier Rhodes, Mackensie Alexander, and Trae Waynes at cornerback.
Not many teams can say they’ve lost arguably their top three cornerbacks this offseason. As a result of the voids left at cornerback, the Vikings selected Jeff Gladney, Cameron Dantzler, and Harrison Hand in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Among those selections, Gladney comes with the highest expectations, having been selected with the No. 31 pick in the first round. Provided that, Gladney is projected to be a starter once he arrives in Minnesota. With all of the changes made in the secondary, Gladney has to step up alongside the other rookies and Mike Hughes to fill the voids left by the former cornerbacks on the roster.
