4 players who must step up for the Minnesota Vikings in 2020

The Minnesota Vikings, similar to other teams, conducted quite an overhaul of the roster this offseason. For the most part, the vast majority of Minnesota’s departures this offseason have come on the defensive side of the ball.

Nevertheless, after signing Kirk Cousins to an extension, the Vikings believe they can continue to compete in a tough NFC conference in 2020. Not to mention, Cousins will continue to have Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, and Kyle Rudolph in the offense with him.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Vikings were able to retain Anthony Harris by placing their franchise tag on him. Plus, it doesn’t hurt to have Danielle Hunter still rushing the passer off of the edge.

Even with Minnesota returning some of their key contributors, they still managed to lose a few key members of their team in free agency. With that in mind, let’s take a look at four players that will need to step up for the Vikings in 2020.
