Of the moves the Vikings made this offseason, none sent more shockwaves through the sports world more than the trade involving Stefon Diggs. Early in free agency, Minnesota completed a blockbuster trade that sent Diggs to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for multiple draft picks.

Since coming into the NFL in 2015, Diggs has been a reliable source of offense for the Vikings. Of course, Thielen, Cook, Rudolph, and even Irv Smith will help replace the production of Diggs. At the same time, one of Minnesota’s first-round picks in the 2020 NFL Draft — Justin Jefferson — should see an immediate role in the passing attack.

While having two first-round picks, the Vikings took Jefferson with the No. 22 pick in hopes he could translate what he did at LSU to the NFL. Even with the weapons they already had, Minnesota is going to need Jefferson to make an immediate impact on offense next season.
