2. The 49ers Absolutely Could Use More Help

As previously mentioned, the 49ers could absolutely use more help at the wide receiver position. Antonio Brown may come with some baggage, but there is no question that he is still capable of being one of the top wideouts in the game.

San Francisco doesn’t have a true star wide receiver on their roster. Deebo Samuel has big-time potential, but he isn’t a proven star yet. Adding Brown would give the 49ers the kind of No. 1 target that they need.

Brown is worth the risk for a team like the 49ers. They are legitimate Super Bowl contenders and the veteran star could put them over the top. If it doesn’t work out, the 49ers could simply release him and move on.
