Offensive Line

San Francisco made a huge move during the draft when they acquired Trent Williams from Washington. This move immediately improved their line and catapulted them into one of the top units in the league, if they were not already.

Williams has been one of the best left tackles in football since entering the league. He joins Mike McGlinchey as a starting tackle. McGlinchey will be on the right side where he excels in run blocking. Laken Tomlinson has turned into a quality starter and will be next to Williams on the left side in the guard position.

The right guard position can be one of many players. Daniel Brunskill has a chance to jump into the starting role. Veteran Tom Compton or Ben Garland also have a chance. Finally, Weston Richburg will be back at center after suffering an injury in Week 14 of the 2019 season.

This is an offensive line that will excel in the run game. Williams is a left tackle that can do it all and the rest of the line will follow. If he and Richburg return to form in 2020, San Francisco has a chance to be one of the top five offensive lines in football.
