5 bold predictions for Buccaneers vs. Bears matchup in Week 5

1. Buccaneers Cover The Spread

This is a lower spread than might be expected. The Bucs are a 5.5-point favorite on Thursday night. This is because the game is in Chicago. If it was in Tampa Bay, it would be over a touchdown. Regardless, the Bucs should win this game by at least a touchdown.

The Bucs’ offense looks like it has hit a stride. Evans is dealing with an ankle sprain suffered during their win over the Chargers, but he should be good to go for Thursday. They trailed by 17 late in the second quarter of this game and just made big play after big play to get back in and steal a victory.

This comes down to the fact that the Bears just might not be able to score enough to keep up.

The Bears’ defense will have to come up big in this one. Historically home teams have played well on Thursday night. The New York Jets don’t count and everyone knows that. In the end, the number is low so jump on it before it goes up.
