5 bold predictions for the Buccaneers against the Raiders in Week 7

Gronk Will Once Again Find The End Zone

One of the more shocking news in the offseason was the un-retiring of Rob Gronkowski. After Gronk had retired at the end of 2018-2019 season, he joined FOX, and also made multiple appearances on WWE Smackdown. In fact, he won the 24/7 championship belt. The former Super Bowl and WWE champ decided to join his old friend, Tom Brady, down in Tampa Bay.

As expected, there was much rust to dust off. Gronk was very quiet in the first couple weeks as a Buccaneer. In Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers, it appeared as if he and Brady hadn’t lost a step. Gronk recorded 5 catches for 78 yards, while also scoring 1 touchdown. Gronk was the leading wideout this past Sunday for the Buccaneers.

Brady connected with Gronk on many beautiful passes down the field. Perhaps, the best one was the touchdown where Gronkowski not only reels in the catch, but displays excellent feet work for someone his size. I know it’s only one game, but I think Gronk is only going to get better from here on out. With an already explosive offensive featuring Ronald Jones, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the last thing opposing teams want is for Gronk to starting playing like his old self.

When asked about the Week 6 game, here is what the multiple time Super Bowl Champ had to say:

“It was just a lot of fun to be out there winning a big game, but also just the atmosphere of football, being under the lights when the sun went down, the stadium was popping, the atmosphere just felt unbelievable. Just everything — there was a breeze, the fans, they were cheering loud, they were going wild and it was just super cool. It’s a lot of fun to be back out there winning games and doing what we love to do.”

Gronk will once again be under the lights this week in Las Vegas. I expect Gronk to have another big game, recording his second touchdown of the year.
