4. Derrick Henry Will Record 150+ Yards, 1 TD
The Titans’ offensive gameplan revolves around Derrick Henry. While Ryan Tannehill has been a quality starter since he took the job from Marcus Mariota, there’s no denying Henry is one of the league’s top backs. One team Henry has just feasted on in the past is the Jaguars.
Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone has had no answers for Henry throughout his tenure. Let’s not forget, the famous 99-yard touchdown run where Henry obliterated the Jaguars’ defense, which put truly put him on the map as an elite running back.
Last week, the Jaguars’ run defense did a very good job against one of the league’s top offensive lines. However, the Colts did not have Henry running the football. Much like the Incredible Hulk, the more hits Henry takes the stronger he gets. The Titans will turn to Henry a lot this week as the try and pound this Jaguars’ run defense into submission.
The Jaguars’ run defense was one of the worst in the NFL last season. Adding veteran linebacker Joe Schobert and moving Myles Jack back to weakside linebacker seemed to help last week.
The Titans will look to Henry to have another monster game against Jacksonville this week. Jacksonville will not be able to stop him, Henry will have over 150 rushing yards and a touchdown.
