The Overall Scoring Volume Surpasses The Over

The Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions are two teams with poor defenses that like to put up points on the offensive end. In Week 6, these teams combined to score 74 points and that has been the trend of their season.

For the Lions, three of their five games have gone over the number while four of six games for Atlanta have been over. This is going to be a high number.

It is currently set at 57 which is a ton for an NFL game. This is not something to shy away from. These are two teams that throw the ball a lot and struggle to get stops.

If nothing else, there will be points and that is something the NFL has encouraged. This is the ideal game to root for an over as the scoreboard will be busy all afternoon.
