Both QBs Throw For 300+ Yards
Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford are always near the top of the league’s passing leaders. This is because of their durability and ability to stay on the field. It is also because of the weapons they have paired with their coaches’ view on throwing the football.
This season, things have changed a bit. Stafford has not thrown for 300 yards in any of the Detroit Lions first five games. Ryan has gone over 300 yards twice including a 371-yard, four touchdown performance against the Vikings last week.
The Lions have focused on establishing the run. This is something that they will be able to do against the Atlanta Falcons, but there will also be room in the secondary for Stafford and the receivers to operate.
If Atlanta is healthy, Ryan can throw for 300 yards every game. They like to score points and know they have to with the state of their defense. This will be a game full of passing yards on both sides.
