Doug Marrone and GM Dave Caldwell will be fired after the loss

The Doug Marrone era in Jacksonville looks to be coming to an end. After conflicting reports that last week was his final game, the Jaguars assured everyone that Doug Marrone was still the Head Coach in Jacksonville. However, that may not be true for much longer.

The Jaguars lost three straight to winless teams. Marrone makes at least one awful coaching decision a week. The AFC Championship appearance is all a distant memory now. If the Jaguars lose this week, Doug Marrone may be the next coach to get fired.

There are only two people sitting on hotter seats than Doug Marrone right now. The first is Adam Gase, for obvious reasons. The second is Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell. Caldwell has been around for longer than Doug Marrone. His record during that time is 36-76. He has had only one winning season during his tenure as the GM. At this point it is baffling that he is still the GM in Jacksonville.

Jaguars owner Shad Khan has made it clear that the Jaguars coach and GM were on thin ice going into the season. How much thinner can the ice get before Marrone and Caldwell fall through? Don’t be surprised if a loss this weeks marks a long overdue change for the Jaguars at Head Coach and GM.
