5 bold predictions for the Lions vs. Jaguars matchup in Week 6

Both teams score over 30 points

The Lions and the Jaguars are two teams with offenses capable of putting up points. The Jags have a young offense with a very good young receiving core and a talented rookie back. Gardner Minshew doesn’t have an arm that will wow you, but he is very accurate on his throws. When he is in rhythm he’s one of the best young QB’s in the league.

Meanwhile the Lions still have a very solid offense. They have weapons at running back in AP, Swift, and Kerryon Johnson. Marvin Jones is a receiver capable of making big plays. TJ Hockenson is progressing nicely.

Matthew Stafford is still a quality QB. When healthy, Kenny Golladay is one of the leagues better receivers. Detroit has weapons on offense, and they’re more than capable of putting up points.

While both teams have talent n the offensive side of the ball, the reason this will be a high scoring game is because both teams have very bad defenses. The Lions and Jaguars both have issues stopping offenses through the air and on the ground. If they can take care of the football, look for both teams to have big days on offense.
