Matthew Stafford will throw over 350 yards

The Jaguars secondary is getting torched on a weekly bases. While Sydney Jones had a strong week last week, they still let Deshaun Watson throw three touchdowns and over 350 yards. Matthew Stafford has yet to have a game over 300 yards, but QB’s have been doing virtually whatever they want against this Jacksonville defense.

The Jaguars will likely be without Myles Jack, CJ Henderson, Josh Allen, and Abry Jones. The Jaguars defensive struggles will continue this week.

As for Detroit, they’re coming off a bye after a tough loss to New Orleans. The Lions have gone up against some great defenses early on this season. An extra week to rest up and prepare will help this offense come away with a win. The Lions have weapons and they are going to take some shots this week against Jacksonville.

While he isn’t putting up the gaudy numbers he had early in his career, Matthew Stafford is playing very efficient football. He still has a very good arm and is capable of putting together fantastic games. Stafford will come out firing this week, and prove he’s still got plenty of gas in the tank. Look for him to have his best game of the season against a subpar defense.
