Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Kyler Murray is coming off a very strong rookie campaign where it seemed like each week he displayed improvement. The Arizona Cardinals didn’t have a great record, but Murray kept them in games. It didn’t help the Cardinals that they had a tough schedule, playing the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints outside of arguably the toughest division in football.

While the Cardinals had a few issues last season, things should improve a lot this season. Although it is only his second season, Murray is in a perfect position. Arizona traded for arguably the best receiver in the NFL, DeAndre Hopkins. They also drafted the promising left tackle in Josh Jones in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

There are a few obstacles stacked against Murray and the Cardinals that are certainly worth mentioning. Their division will remain highly difficult and he is entering only his second season. Arizona must make the playoffs in order for its franchise-quarterback to enter the MVP conversation.
