The Baltimore Ravens are in desperate need of some wide receiver depth behind Zay Flowers, and they may be about to get some.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Ravens will be meeting with former Detroit Lions wide out Josh Reynolds on Friday.

Reynolds was one of the more interesting receivers on the free-agent market entering the offseason, but thus far, he remains unsigned.

The 29-year-old is coming off of a solid 2023 campaign with the Lions in which he played every game and caught 40 passes for 608 yards and five touchdowns.

Reynolds, who played his collegiate football at Texas A&M, was originally selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He spent the first four years of his career with the Rams, posting mixed results. His best season in Los Angeles came in 2020, when he hauled in 52 receptions for 618 yards and a couple of scores.

For the most part, though, Reynolds was mostly an afterthought in Los Angeles’ offense.

After his tenure in LA, Reynolds briefly joined the Tennessee Titans in 2021, where he spent just five games before being waived. He went on to sign with Detroit shortly after and had been there ever since.

While Reynolds is certainly not a No. 1 guy, he is a big target at 6-foot-3, and in 2023, he demonstrated big-play ability by averaging an impressive 15.2 yards per catch.

The Ravens can certainly use his ability in their aerial attack, so we will see if they can come to an agreement with the veteran.
