3. Sign LaAdrian Waddle
LaAdrian Waddle began his career with the euro it Lions before going to New England. In March of 2019, Waddle signed a one-year deal with the Buffalo Bills. He did not play because of a torn quad. He is now a free agent and could be the swing tackle that the Chiefs need.
The Chiefs have some elite talent along the offensive line including Mitchell Schwartz, Kelechi Osemele, and Eric Fisher. Depth is the issue and this is where Waddle would fit nicely.
Waddle has never been that every week starter and that is not what the Chiefs would need. Kansas City would need Waddle to act as a backup option and a fill-in if there is an injury.
When considering the circumstances, Waddle would be a cheap option since he is coming off a significant injury. He remains a free agent into September which means the Chiefs have had plenty of time to weigh the option.
