After a tough loss on the road to the Pittsburgh Steelers, could the Cleveland Browns look to make a big splash via a trade?

The Browns had a very bad Monday night for their franchise. While they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road, they also lost their star running back Nick Chubb for the remainder of the season.

Chubb suffered a gruesome knee injury and we will have to wait and see what the future holds for him and wish him the best.

While replacing Chubb will be impossible for the Browns, they need to find a way to create some success on the offensive side of the ball. When the Browns traded for Deshaun Watson, they hoped that they would be getting a great quarterback that could help lead them back to the playoffs.

Due to his suspension last season, Watson and the Browns didn’t make the playoffs, but they had hoped in his first full season with the team to turn it around. While divisional games are never easy, Watson has totaled just 389 passing yards so far against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Steelers.

Recent sportsbook odds noted that the Browns are in the middle of the pack to get Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver, Mike Evans, should he become available.

For most teams in the NFL, Evans would be a massive upgrade to any wide receiver corps. So far in his career, Evans has totaled over 1,000 yards in every single season he has played, which is a remarkable feat. It also shows not only his skill but his durability.

Evans is once again off to a strong start this season, and the Buccaneers are exceeding some expectations so far this season. If Evans and the Buccaneers continue to play well, the franchise might not be motivated to move him in a trade.

For the Browns, they will need to do something on the offensive side of the ball to get a talented player in to replace Chubb. While finding a running back of Chubb’s caliber could be difficult, they could look to improve the passing attack with a player like Mike Evans.
