Marlon Macks leads the team in rushing
Along with Pittman, the Colts definitely provided a boost to the offense when they selected Taylor, giving them a multi-faceted backfield. Ever since Taylor was taken by Indianapolis, it has seemed to be a foregone conclusion that Taylor will assume the role as the No. 1 running back in the offense.
If you’re someone that has conducted a fantasy football draft already, you’ll notice that Taylor is going a decent bit before Mack is taken. However, despite the fact he’s in the final year of his rookie deal, Mack should still be featured prominently in the Colts’ offense next season.
Just a season ago, Mack finished with over 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career. He’s also scored a total of 18 touchdowns in the past two seasons alone. While everyone assumes that Taylor is going to hold the reins as the featured back for the Colts, Mack could still finish as the team’s leading rusher in 2020.
