Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Earlier in the offseason, Buccaneers’ head coach Bruce Arians spoke about his interest of Devonta Freeman. “If his price tag was reasonable. He’s asking for a lot of money and we don’t have a lot of money.”
It appears that Arians would like to add Freeman if the price is right but he’s not going to overreach in order to add an aging running back.
Tampa Bay is already set to be an offensive juggernaut with Tom Brady under center and multiple stars at their skill positions. Adding Freeman would be a luxury.
Their running back department brings intrigue with third-year rusher Ronald Jones II and rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn. However, Jones has had an early up and down career thus far and Vaughn has yet to take an NFL snap. Adding a veteran to the mix would help round out their rotation of rushers for Brady during his first season in Tampa Bay.
