Buffalo Bills
With Tom Brady leaving the AFC East, the Bills’ path to the playoffs just got significantly easier. That said, the Bills also improved their roster themselves, trading for star WR Stefon Diggs.
Buffalo is set to enter another season with continuity along their defensive unit and an improving young quarterback in Josh Allen. Expectations for the Bills are higher than they’ve been in nearly a decade.
However, one aspect they could look to improve their roster once again is adding a proven running back to share the backfield with Devin Singletary and rookie Zach Moss. Singletary and Moss both project as quality playmakers in 2020 but having a player of Freeman’s stature to lean on would theoretically help the two youngsters grow in a positive way.
If the Bills were to add Devonta Freeman, he would likely split carries with Singletary for the starting role, though it would be an offense where they run the ball early and often.
