650+ rushing yards after contact
Listed at 5-11, 211 pounds, Sanders isn’t the biggest running back in the NFL. When the ball is in his hands, he’s not essentially looking for a defender to run over a la Derrick Henry. At the same time, he’s isn’t afraid of contact either when he’s running the ball.
Last season, with a shared workload, Sanders concluded the season with 373 rushing yards after contact (24th most in the NFL). While he didn’t rank near the top of the league, he still had nearly 46 percent of his rushing yards come after contact.
Taking that into consideration, with an increased role in 2020, Sanders could see that number balloon.
By using his elusiveness and his underrated strength, the Penn State product could finish with 650+ rushing yards after contact this season. Only six running backs produced 650+ rushing yards during the 2019 season.
