Eagles: 3 early bold predictions for WR DeSean Jackson in 2020

Jackson will lead the Eagles in receiving yards

Even though Jackson only played in one full game last season, he was still the Eagles leading receiver for the first handful of weeks. His big play ability is what the Eagles offense sorely missed in 2019.

Doug Pederson will surely utilize Jackson whenever the opportunity presents itself. The team added a lot of speed to their wide receivers group this offseason, adding four speedsters during draft weekend. But, Jackson still may be faster than all of them and he’ll more than likely be higher on the depth chart, meaning most of the deep bombs will probably go to him.

Don’t expect a high volume of catches out of Jackson, but he’ll be good for at least one or two deep shots every game. If he’s able to covert on the majority of those shots, there’s no question he’ll be the team’s leading receiver.
