Jackson will stay healthy all season
The best ability is availability in the NFL, and unfortunately Jackson has struggled with that in recent years. He hasn’t played an entire 16-game season since 2013, but that doesn’t mean he can’t buck the trend in 2020.
It may seem highly unlikely, especially given the fact that he’ll be 33 years old heading into next season, but with the number of wideouts the team acquired, Jackson won’t be the only receiver the team can lean on.
First round rookie Jalen Reagor will certainly get his fair share of opportunities, along with Marquise Goodwin who was just acquired from the San Francisco 49ers, and we can’t forget about J.J. Arcega-Whiteside or Greg Ward either.
With these many mouths to feed, Jackson shouldn’t be called upon every time the Eagles need to make a big play. They have plenty of playmakers who can step up now.
