Jason Peters Could Welcome Chase Young to the NFL

In one of the most anticipated debuts for a rookie, Chase Young will be the defender that every Eagle player and fans have their eyes on. Young was the most dominate player in college last year at Ohio State and that led to him being selected with the second overall pick in the NFL draft.

The expectation this year is that Young will follow in the footsteps of former Buckeyes Nick and Joey Bosa by being a force his rookie year and competing for the rookie of the year title. But, Chase Young could not have picked a harder start than against Jason Peters.

Peters has been a staple on the left side of the Eagles offensive line for over a decade now, and for good reason. The former all-pro has been consistent and productive during his career and will look to show that he can produce at a high level regardless of his age.

The winner of this battle will likely be able to sway the field position battle on Sunday which would go a long way in determining the winner.
