Will the Eagles Continue Dominance vs. Washington?

When teams are in the same division and play twice a year, usually there is a pretty good back and forth or at least seeing the underdog get the occasional win. That has not been the case in this rivalry for the last few years.

The Eagles have not lost to Washington since the 2016 season, winning both matchups in each of the last 3 years. That trend is expected to continue, but it seems only a matter of time until Washington is able to pull off the upset.

Washington will likely be the underdog in both matchups between these two teams this year. But, going 0-8 in four years against a team is rare in the NFL. The time that seems the most likely for when Washington can catch Philadelphia is during the opening week when teams are still trying to get in rhythm.

Washington will be at home (albeit without natural crowd noise) and Haskins and Chase Young have a limited amount of film for the opposing team to watch. If Haskins made significant strides during the offseason he could catch the Eagles unprepared and pull off the upset.
