2. Miles Sanders Eclipses 1,800 Yards from Scrimmage
Sanders emerged as the premiere back for the Eagles early in the season. During his rookie season, he carried the ball 179 times for 818 yards. He added 50 catches for 509 yards. Sanders finished the season with 1,327 yards from scrimmage.
In 2020, he will see an increase in touches which could put him upwards of 1,800 yards. Sanders averaged 4.6 yards per carry last season. He is a No. 1 back that can carry the offense and rush for over 1,000 yards. He was also targeted 63 times.
All numbers will increase this season. Jordan Howard spent the 2019 season in Philadelphia and is now with the Miami Dolphins. Boston Scott will be the backup to Sanders this season.
The Eagles have a long history of duel-threat running backs. Sanders could be the next great name. Pederson will have a plan to get the ball in his hands a lot within the offense.
