Fantasy Football: Buy-Low, Sell-High trade candidates for Week 7

Buy-low candidates

Kareem Hunt (RB, Cleveland Browns): From the beginning of the season, Kareem Hunt has had a prominent role for the Cleveland Browns despite sharing touches with Nick Chubb, scoring a touchdown in four straight games heading into Week 6. And with Chubb on short-term injured reserve, Hunt has handled the majority of the workload in the past two games for the Browns.

Just this past Sunday, Hunt had a rough outing, recording just 57 yards from scrimmage on 15 touches versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. While it was a disappointing stat line, it came against one of the best run defenses in the Steelers, meaning there are brighter days ahead for Hunt.

Even with Chubb set to return, which Week 8 is the earliest he can come back, Hunt is worth trying to acquire for a fairly cheap price after his dud against a stingy Pittsburgh defense.

Cooper Kupp (WR, Los Angeles Rams): Coming into Week 6, Cooper Kupp led the Los Angeles Rams in receiving, hauling in 28 passes for 363 yards and two touchdowns. However, he would have an uncharacteristic performance on Sunday night versus the San Francisco 49ers, catching just three of his nine targets for 11 yards with a couple of drops.

Despite his underwhelming showing, it was positive to see Kupp garner nine targets, which was just one fewer than Robert Woods. Unlike other teams, the Rams are one of the select few that the vast majority of their targets are funneled through two players.

Some people may be concerned with Los Angeles’ passing offense, making Kupp a prime buy-low candidate right now.

Tyler Boyd (WR, Cincinnati Bengals): At one point on Sunday, it looked as if the Cincinnati Bengals were going to pull off the upset over the Indianapolis Colts. Even though Joe Burrow and the passing attack got an early lead, it was A.J. Green and Tee Higgins that led the way at wide receiver.

Green and Higgins combined for 14 receptions for 221 yards while Tyler Boyd had just five receptions for 54 yards. Even after Cincinnati’s devastating loss to the Colts, Boyd is still the leading pass-catcher on the team with 37 receptions for 416 yards and a touchdown.

Getting a discount on Burrow’s No. 1 target seems like a smart way to improve your team at this point in the season.

Marquise Brown (WR, Baltimore Ravens): The Baltimore Ravens just can’t seem to figure things out in the passing game early in the season. Ever since Lamar Jackson threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns in Week 1, Baltimore has failed to throw more than 200 yards in four consecutive games.

As a result, it has become hard for some people to trust Mark Andrews and Marquise Brown in fantasy football. Still, even with Baltimore’s offense hitting a rough patch, Brown continues to see a consistent target share in the offense, commanding at least six targets in each game this season.

If the person who rosters Brown in your fantasy football league is panicking about his lack of production, see if you can get him at a reasonable price. It’s only a matter of time before the Ravens get on track offensively and Brown is going to be the recipient of more touchdowns when that comes to fruition.

DJ Chark (WR, Jacksonville Jaguars): Injuries have been a hindrance for DJ Chark to begin the season, causing him to miss Week 3 and preventing him from being one-hundred percent. Due to his somewhat slow start to the season, some people who have Chark are concerned with his lack of consistent production for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In Week 6, Chark caught seven passes for only 45 yards during Jacksonville’s lopsided defeat to the Detroit Lions. While the 45 yards are less-than-ideal, his season-high 14 targets from Gardner Minshew is something to be excited about.

Plus, with the Jaguars being a team that is going to be playing from behind often, getting Chark before he reverts back to being the 2019 version of himself could be a wise idea.
