WRs to Start in Week 16
Cowboys’ Amari Cooper (vs. Buccaneers): Amari Cooper—like Dak Prescott—had one of his worst games since joining the Cowboys. In Week 15, Cooper had just four receptions for 32 yards in a game where the Cowboys were shutout 23-0. Luckily for Cooper, he gets the Buccaneers this week, who have allowed 19 touchdowns to WRs this season (the third most in the NFL).
Bears’ Allen Robinson (vs. 49ers): Allen Robinson has been a hard guy to trust in fantasy this season. Robinson only has six games this year where he has scored 10 or more fantasy points. This is due to the Bears having a multitude of weapons and the inconsistency of Trubisky. This week feels like a good one to trust him in, as they take on the San Francisco 49ers, who have allowed 22 touchdowns this year to WRs (the most in the NFL).
Seahawks’ Tyler Lockett (vs. Chiefs): It seems like every time the Seahawks have a big play, it’s coming at the hands of Tyler Lockett. Lockett doesn’t get many targets due to the Seahawks running the ball the majority of the time. Although, Lockett has scored in double-digits in 12 out of his 14 games started. He gets the Chiefs this week, who have allowed a total of 179.5 points to WRs in the past four weeks.
Other WRs I Like: Texans’ Demaryius Thomas (vs. Eagles), Jets’ Robby Anderson (vs. Packers), Falcons’ Calvin Ridley vs. Panthers)
WRs to Sit in Week 16
Dolphins’ Kenny Stills (vs. Jaguars): Kenny Stills is one of the most boom-or-bust options at WR in fantasy. Stills only has four games this year where he has scored 10 or more fantasy points. It doesn’t help his case that he faces the Jaguars this week. The Jaguars have only allowed seven touchdowns to opposing WRs this season (the least in the NFL).
Lions’ Kenny Golladay (vs. Vikings): Kenny Golladay is one of the only weapons on a depleted Detroit Lions offense. Golladay had one of his best games in Week 15, where he had seven catches for 146 yards against the Buffalo Bills. He gets the Minnesota Vikings, who he struggled against in Week 9—where he had just three receptions for 46 yards.
