Gardner Minshew Will Earn His Franchise QB Title

Some may not view this as a “bold” prediction, but we’re making it nonetheless. Despite all of the concern about the quarterback position for the Jaguars, Minshew is going to earn his title as the team’s long-term franchise quarterback.

What does that mean exactly? It means that Minshew is going to step up and take a big step forward.

Minshew may never become an NFL superstar. He may never be one of the elite quarterbacks in the league. But, he has the leadership qualities and the excitement factor that a franchise quarterback has to have.

Jacksonville may never get powered to a championship by Minshew. They may need to build around him to get to that point. Despite that fact, Minshew is going to prove himself capable of being a long-term option for the Jaguars.
