New Orleans Saints: 3 Best Individual Performances in Week 14 Win vs Buccaneers

1. Cameron Jordan

As mentioned, the New Orleans Saints shut out the Buccaneers in the second half of their win. Defensive captain and superstar Cam Jordan was a big reason for that.

Jordan recorded two sacks to add to his 12 on the season and they came at key points in the game. The first was for an eight-yard loss in the first half that pushed the Buccaneers just far enough out of make-able field goal range in the sloppy conditions. The second was for 11 yards and on the Bucs’ ensuing drive after the Saints’ first touchdown of the game.

That sack led to the Saints getting the ball back on a punt and driving 51 yards in 10 plays before finally finding the endzone to take their first lead of the game. Jordan certainly made a big impact for the Saints’ path to 11-2.
