Giants Trade For Broncos’ Jerry Jeudy In Bold Proposal

The New York Giants continued their downward spiral on Sunday afternoon, losing to the Miami Dolphins by a score of 31-16 and falling to just 1-4 on the season as a result. It’s clear that they need help in a big way, especially offensively. A trade for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy could help.

To make matters worse, quarterback Daniel Jones left the game with a neck injury. He will undergo an MRI, but it should be noted that Jones missed the last six contests of 2021 due to a neck issue.

So, in terms of this season, the Giants might just have to throw in the towel. But that does not mean they shouldn’t consider making moves for the future.

New York has between now and the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline to add some pieces, and one thing is for sure: Big Blue is in dire need of receiving help.

The Broncos may have just what the doctor ordered for the Giants: wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Jeudy has another year left on his deal, but the Broncos did field trade offers for him during the offseason. Given that Denver may be one of the only teams in the NFL currently in worse shape than New York (although that’s hard to say at this point), the Broncos could end up blowing it up and moving some guys in the coming weeks.

Could the Broncos revisit trade talks surrounding Jeudy?

The Giants could offer Denver a 2024 second-round draft pick and a fourth-rounder for Jeudy, which would be some rather substantial draft capital for the Broncos. Remember: New York could very well finish with one of the league’s worst records, so that second-round pick could be in the 30s.

Jeudy would provide Jones with a rather stable target, and while he isn’t exactly a No. 1 receiver, he is still better than anything the Giants have in their current stable of wide outs.

The 24-year-old has played in four games this season, logging 17 catches for 208 yards. He had the best year of his career in 2022, hauling in 67 receptions for 972 yards and six touchdowns.
