Jets’ Aaron Rodgers Doesn’t Hold Back On Major Super Bowl Conspiracy Theory

Aaron-Rodgers-Jets

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is always great for an interesting quote when he is on The Pat McAfee Show, and on Tuesday, he didn’t disappoint.

The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers are considered the favorites to represent their respective conferences in the Super Bowl this year, which oddly falls in line with the purple and red color scheme of the Super Bowl 58 logo. But here’s the thing: the last two Super Bowl logos have strangely had the color scheme of the participants.

The Super Bowl 56 logo was orange and yellow. The two teams playing in the event? The Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams. Last year, the color scheme was green and red. The partakers? The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

When discussing the Super Bowl with McAfee, Rodgers made a hilarious remark.

“If the Super Bowl is Baltimore and San Francisco, then I tell you what, that Super Bowl 59 emblem better have Jet green on it,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers was dealt to the Jets in a blockbuster trade last offseason, ending his illustrious 18-year tenure with the Green Bay Packers.

New York had Super Bowl aspirations heading into 2023, but Rodgers ultimately tore his Achilles on the Jets’ first offensive series of Week 1, ending Gang Green’s championship hopes.

So long as Rodgers is healthy going into next season, however, the Jets should be pegged as Super Bowl contenders once again.

Of course, New York has some work to do this offseason, like shoring up its offensive line and perhaps adding another weapon for Rodgers in the aerial attack, but there is no doubt that a healthy Rodgers changes things for the Jets in 2024.

The NFL playoffs will start next week. Both the Ravens and the 49ers will have first-round byes. We’ll see if those two clubs do, in fact, end up clashing in the Supe Bowl next month.

If that does happen, you can bet Aaron Rodgers will bring up the logo again.
