Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers were just a couple of plays short of the NFC Championship Game last season. In a year that started with most doubting that they would be a playoff time, they showed that they are well ahead of the expected “rebuild” timetable after trading Aaron Rodgers.

Instead, there are many now who believe that the Packers are a legitimate dark-horse Super Bowl contender next season.

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, the Packers are going to be a serious threat in the NFC. Granted, there are variables that could change that, but assuming Love continues developing Green Bay has a legitimate superstar under center once again. Defensively, the Packers were able to add Xavier McKinney to improve the secondary in free agency.

Speaking to a former NFL executive, things could not look brighter for the Packers’ future.

“You don’t see Green Bay get aggressive very often, but when they do, a Super Bowl window usually opens. I don’t think this team is going to be any different. In fact, I would predict that an NFC Championship Game berth is in the cards for this team. Depending on the rest of their offseason, they’re one of my Super Bowl favorites.”

Needless to say, those words are music to Green Bay’s ears. After the Rodgers drama and coming up short in the playoffs year after year, a run to the Super Bowl is needed.

Love and company have their work cut out for them, but the roster is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. Brian Gutekunst and the front office have done an amazing job of building the team. Adding in both Josh Jacobs and McKinney this offseason are major additions and the 2024 NFL Draft bodes well for Green Bay, who has a ton of draft capital.

They could look to continue stocking up on young talent, or they could flip some draft assets for a veteran win-now player.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see what the 2024 season has in store for the Green Bay Packers. If the young talent keeps developing, we could see the Packers in the Super Bowl before long.
