The notion of the Packers potentially ascending several spots in the first round suggests a desire to leapfrog competitors for a coveted player or position.
In this context, targeting an offensive lineman seems logical. With teams like the Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys potentially eyeing offensive line talent between the 16th and 25th picks, a move up the draft board could be strategic.
However, skeptics argue against the Packers trading up for a lineman due to the abundance of prospects available. Presently, nine offensive linemen rank within the top 30 on the consensus big board.
