The Baltimore Ravens are going to be a very interesting team to keep an eye on this offseason. After another disappointing exit in the playoffs, they are going to look to make some moves to improve their roster. One of those moves could be bringing in star free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown.

Brown is set to hit free agency this offseason after resurrecting his career with Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Many believe that he will simply end up re-signing with the Bucs, but there is a chance other teams may come calling.

One of those teams could be the Ravens. At least one NFL executive believes that the Ravens could be a potential landing spot for Brown.

“I think the Ravens could be a team to watch to steal Antonio (Brown) away from Tampa. They have his cousin on the roster (Marquise Brown) and they are a contender. Antonio would have a strong chance to be the No. 1 target again, which would be of interest to him.”

During the 2020 season with the Buccaneers, Brown ended up playing in eight games. He caught 45 passes for 483 yards and four touchdowns. In the playoffs, he caught another eight passes for eight passes for 81 yards and two scores.

Those numbers may not be the superstar production that fans have become used to from him, but they were a start. He had a rough patch and many thought his career was over due to off-the-field issues. But, he seems to be back on track.

For the Ravens, a true No. 1 target for Lamar Jackson is needed. Marquise “Hollywood” Brown is a good player, but he is not quite a top target yet. Adding his cousin would give the Ravens a one-two punch for Jackson.

There is no question that Antonio Brown would be an upgrade for the Baltimore offense. He would be their top wideout and could get back to being the superstar that he once was with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Expect to hear more news and rumors about Brown in the near future. It’s still likely that he will re-sign with the Buccaneers, but the Ravens could be a team to keep an eye on.
