Tampa Bay Buccaneers
It’s no secret the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be seeking to make a run at the Super Bowl next season. There will be added pressure to succeed in 2020 given its’s the start of the Tom Brady era and there is little time to work with to get it done.
There is still a need for the Buccaneers to sign a veteran running back like Devonta Freeman. Tampa Bay lost Peyton Barber in free agency and used the 2020 NFL Draft to add Ke’Shawn Vaughn and Raymond Calais. Those options simply aren’t enough for an aspiring contender.
It would be ideal for the Buccaneers to have Freeman to set the tone in the running back group. It would help to ease Vaughn into the NFL level before ultimately proving he’s ready to take over the No. 1 back role.
