Are you sensing the theme here? Jameis Winston is the perfect fit for teams with talented defenses. Chicago has an excellent defense, perhaps one of the leagues best. If the Bears had consistent quarterback play last season they could have been a playoff contender. They managed to finish 8-8 although Mitchell Trubisky was borderline awful.

Nick Foles was brought in, but he doesn’t appear to be the future. Jameis could be the type of aggressive quarterback Chicago needs.

Chicago has some very good receiver, that are all deep threats. Jameis would immediately get the starting role in Chicago. After a year of sitting under Brees, Jameis may be hungry to start again. It is hard blaming him, while he threw a ton of interceptions Jameis was the NFL’s passing leader last season. He is a risk-taker, and that might be exactly what Chicago needs to help breathe life into this stale offense.

Adding Jameis Winston gives Chicago a young Quarterback who their offense could build around. However, they do have the type of receivers Jameis likes. Allen Robinson is one of the leagues best receivers. Robinson has never had a good quarterback throwing him the ball.

While Jameis isn’t the typical star quarterback, he would be the best one Robinson has ever had by far. Chicago could once again make the playoffs, and could even be a fringe Super Bowl contender.
