5. Green Bay Packers
The Packers notably avoided taking anyone from a deep 2020 wide receiver draft class. Next year’s draft class promises to give them a mulligan there, but a dip into free agency for someone better than Devin Funchess may be in order.
Despite a possible shift toward running the ball, Aaron Rodgers is still the driver of Green Bay’s offense. The No. 1 thing on the franchise’s agenda has to be maximizing what’s left of a window to win a Super Bowl with him as the quarterback.
A.J. Green (assuming health) and Davante Adams would be a formidable wide receiver duo that would give opposing teams plenty of trouble. Given how it could be a low-risk, high-reward option, it adds further intrigue.
