1. Duo of Adams & Kupp
If Cooper Kupp has a strong 2020, which he should under Sean McVay and new offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell, he could be in for a nice payday in 2021. Once his rookie deal is finished, Kupp could land a four or five-year deal worth a pretty penny. It will not be the level of Amari Cooper’s monster $100 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys, but there is still nice money to be made.
The idea of pairing Davante Adams and Kupp on the outside should have the Packers salivating. This would give them two of the best red-zone receivers in the league. Defenses would struggle coming up with a game plan to stop both and Rodgers would be able to pick his poison on every play.
Adams has two years left on his contract. If the team decided to sign Kupp, this would give them one season before the Packers had to decide what to do with Adams., most likely an extension.
The NFC North is full of talented receivers. Thielen and Jefferson in Minnesota, Allen Robinson in Chicago, and even Marvin Jones Jr. and Kenny Golladay in Detroit. The Packers could immediately jump to the top of that list if they were to pair Adams with Kupp in 2021.
