What is the ceiling for the Green Bay Packers in 2020? They finished 13-3 last season and were completely torn apart by the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game. Since 2011, the Packers have won the NFC North six times and that is a possibility once again in 2020. Their biggest threat will be the Minnesota Vikings.

Green Bay holds an advantage under center with Aaron Rodgers. What they do not have is the receiving talent of the Vikings. Kirk Cousins has many options to throw the ball to like Adam Thielen and first round pick Justin Jefferson. The Packers do not have many options outside of Davante Adams. One name that will be on the market in 2021 is Los Angeles’ Rams star wideout Cooper Kupp.

Kupp has a breakout season in 2019 after missing eight games with an ACL injury the year before. He finished with 94 catches for 1,161 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a rookie, Kupp logged 62 catches for 869 yards and five touchdowns. There has always been a feeling in Los Angeles that he would turn into an elite receiver and it is on the brink of happening. Kupp is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2020.

The Rams have not engaged in contract talks with Kupp as of yet and he is not panicking. Kupp is on record saying that it should not be a priority at this time with the state of the country. It would behoove the Rams to keep Kupp around for as long as possible, but the Packers could be the perfect landing spot if he decides to play elsewhere.

With that being said, let’s take a look at three reasons why Cooper Kupp would be a perfect fit for the Green Bay Packers in 2021.
