Seattle Seahawks
Led by franchise-quarterback Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks posted an 11-5 record and came quite close to winning the NFC West, but a Week 17 loss resulted in a second-place finish. They ended up losing 28-23 to the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional Round to the Green Bay Packers.
Last season, Wilson provided truly incredible results by completing 341-of-516 (66.1%) pass attempts translating to 4,110 yards, 31 touchdowns, and five interceptions. He chipped in 75 carries, 342 yards, and three rushing scores in the ground-game, too.
There wasn’t substantial change that occurred for the Seahawks within their offense. The offensive line remains troubling and they signed Greg Olsen and Phillip Dorsett to add to the passing game, along bringing in Carlos Hyde to add backfield depth.
The ESPN projection for Wilson in 2020 features him completing 297-of-467 (63.6%) pass attempts resulting in 3,656 yards, 29 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Additionally, he is expected to record 73 carries for 397 yards and a pair of rushing scores.
It seems unlikely the Seahawks will rely less on Wilson as a high-volume passer in 2020. In fact, if they still may bring in a talent like Josh Gordon or Antonio Brown at some point. He should contineu to post closer results to what he achieved in 2019 as opposed to the ESPN projection.
