NFL: One second-year player to watch from each team in the NFC West

Seattle Seahawks — D.K. Metcalf

Besides Samuel, D.K. Metcalf also made some noise in the NFC West last season. Despite the hype surrounding him before the 2019 NFL Draft, Metcalf would slip to the No. 64 pick, where the Seattle Seahawks knew they couldn’t pass on him.

Metcalf quickly proved that he was a massive steal in last year’s draft, carving out a prominent role in Seattle’s offense. The Ole Miss product would notch 58 receptions for 900 yards and seven touchdowns as he built a decent rapport with Russell Wilson.

Considering the fact that Metcalf thrives as a big-play threat, having Wilson as his quarterback is a match made in heaven. Seeing that the Seahawks didn’t add any notable wide receivers this offseason, Metcalf is on track to have his first 1,000-yard season in 2020.
