NFL: One second-year player to watch from each team in the NFC West

There’s an argument to be had that the NFC West is the best division in the NFL. One of the reasons for the division being ultra competitive right now — and likely in the future — is due to the number of young players in the NFC West that have already cemented themselves as possible superstars.

Of course, all eyes will be on Kyler Murray in 2020 after he put together a stellar rookie campaign with the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. The No. 1 pick in last year’s draft would have plenty of success in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense despite the Cardinals having a dismal record.

Coming into the NFL, he drew comparisons to Russell Wilson due to his playing style. While it was preemptive to liken him to someone like Wilson, Murray showed that the comparisons he received weren’t too far fetched after all.

Heading into the 2020 NFL season, Murray is poised to take another toward becoming a premier quarterback in the NFL. But which second-year players — besides Murray — in the NFC West could be worth keeping an eye on in 2020?
