San Francisco 49ers — Deebo Samuel

Just a season ago, there were a handful of rookie wide receivers that immediately made impact in their respective offenses. Of the rookie wideouts in 2019, not many of them had a more productive season than Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers.

During his time in college at South Carolina, Samuel excelled after the catch due to his ability to make defenders miss. Provided that, Kyle Shanahan knew that he had to manufacture ways for the 49ers to get Samuel the ball as much as possible.

That resulted in Samuel hauling in 57 receptions for 802 yards and three touchdowns through the air, along with 159 rushing yards and another three scores on the ground. Despite Samuel’s recent foot injury, he should have a remarkable sophomore season in San Francisco, cementing himself as one of the best skill players in the NFC West.
