Delanie Walker, Tight End
Early in free agency, the Packers were rumored to have interest in signing Delanie Walker. Even though Walker is an aging veteran, Green Bay could bring him in on a one-year deal to start and help groom Jace Sternberger and Josiah Deguara for the future.
Last season with the Tennessee Titans, Walker struggled with injury issues and only played in seven games. He caught 21 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. Back in 2018, he only played in one game due to injury.
Walker may not be the stud that racked up 74 receptions for 807 yards and three touchdowns back in 2017, but he can still be an impact player.
If Gutekunst wants to add another weapon for Rodgers, the 35-year-old Walker would make sense. Assuming he can stay healthy, Walker would be an upgrade at tight end and could help improve the team’s offense.
